THE EVENING SACRIFICE

Seven days thou shalt make an atonement for the altar, and sanctify it; and it shall be an altar most holy: whatsoever toucheth the altar shall be holy.

Now this is that which thou shalt offer upon the altar: Two lambs of the First year day by day continually.

The one lamb thou shalt offer in the morning; and the other lamb shalt thou offer at even...(Exodus 29:37-46).

RIDE THE DIVINE CHARIOT

"At the highest level of holiness are those persons who have achieved a state in which their whole personalities and all their actions are inseparably joined to the divine holiness. Of these persons it is said that they have become a 'chariot' for the Shekinah, and like the Chariot, they are totally yielded up to the One who sits in the driver's seat, the Throne of Glory, and they constitute a part of the throne of glory itself, even though they are flesh and blood, men and women like all other men and women." Adin Steinsalz.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the children of God.

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear: but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father (Amma, Mother).

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified together.

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons and daughters of God...(Romans 8:14-19).

We have this treasure in earthen vessels...(2 Corinthians 4:6,7).

Thou shalt not seeth a kid in his mother's milk...(Exodus 23:19; Deut.14:21). Take the eggs and leave the dam...(Deut.22:6,7; Lev.22:27).

BLESSES ARE THOSE WHO HAVE PART IN THE FIRST RESURRECTION...(Revelation 20:6).

The members of the Community will effect atonement in the earth, and requite the wicked...(The Manual of Discipline VIII.1-19, The Dead Sea Scriptures, p.61).

Verily I say unto you, except a corn of wheat fall unto the ground and die, it abideth alone. But if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

He that loveth his life shall lose it; he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal...(John 12:23-25).

THE VIA DOLOROSA

"Of all who have sailed the seas of life, none have experienced a range of vicissitude more wide than has fallen to the lot of some among the mystics. Theirs have been the dazzling heights; the lowest depths have also been theirs. Their solitary vessels have been swept into the frozen north, where the ice of great despair has closed about them...and through a long soul's winter they have lain hidden in cold and darkness, some belated swallow in the cleft of a rock." Vaughan.

The road of mysticism has materially been a via dolorosa, and its track is thickly strewn with the bones of unremembered martyrs. Speaking of what he calls the "True Christians," or the "Invisible Church," Komensky says: "Human fury attacked some of them shamefully. Bands of tyrants and hangmen, with countless followers, surrounded them. Sometimes powerful kings and whole kingdoms strove unto exhaustion to destroy them. Yet...they stood together, or went their way merrily, pursuing their callings."

"Nothing unexpected," continues Komensky, "can, indeed, befall them; for they count wounds, prison, torture, and death among God's gifts. To live joyfully or dolefully is indifferent to them, except that they consider the former more dangerous, the latter safer. Therefore they delight in their troubles, wounds and stripes...In all things they are so hardy in God;s faith, that if they suffer not somewhat, they imagine that they are idling and losing time...Some who fared not thus envied the others with holy envy, fearing God's wrath if they received no correction, and separation from Christ if they had no cross. Therefore they kissed the rod and stick of God whenever they touched them, and gratefully took his cross upon them."...

Continuing to describe the "True Christians," Komensky says: 'Now it is true that the evil world granted them but little rest, and, indeed, did everything it could to spite and mock them; it grinned at them, bit its thumb at them, pelted them, spat at them, tripped them up, and whatever worse things can be imagined. Of this I saw many examples, and I understood that it befell, according to the orders of God the Highest, that those who wish to be good here must wear cap and bells; for the ways of the world bring it with them that what is wisdom before God is to the world sheer folly. I saw, therefore, that many to whom God had granted His noblest gifts had to endure the contempt and derision of the others, often even of those who were nearest to them. Thus...I saw that the godly heeded this not, that they, indeed, gloried therein, that the worldly stopped up their noses before them as before a stench, averted their eyes from them as from something loathsome, scorned them as fools, put them to death as malefactors. For they said that their watchword, by which it was known that they belonged to Christ, was "not to please the world." They said also that they who know not how to suffer wrongs gaily hath not yet fully the spirit of Christ; thus spake they of these things, and identified each other.'" The Lost Language of Symbolism, by Harold Bayley, pp.316-318.

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely for my sake (for the son of man's sake...see Luke 6:22,23).

Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you...

Ye are the Light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid.

Neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

Let your Light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven...(Matthew 5:10-16).

THERE HAS ALWAYS BEEN A REMNANT IN THE EARTH

Yet have I left me Seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Ba'al, and every mouth which has not kissed him...(I Kings 19:9,10, 18).

And in the earthquake (the shaking of human consciousness) were killed of men Seven thousand, and a Tenth part of the City fell...(Revelation 11:13; Genesis 14:18-20).

THE FEET OF THEM

Ten virgins, Five wise, Five foolish...(Matthew 25:1-13; 2 Kings 4:1-7).

What I doest thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter...(John 13:1-18; Exodus 30:21; 40:29-38)

Their FOOT shall in due time...(Deuteronomy 32; Psalm 41:9).

Woe to ye rich men...(James, chapter 5).

Blessed are the poor and the poor in spirit...(Luke 6:20; Matthew 5:3; 1 Samuel 2:1-10).

Blessed are they that do hunger and thirst after righteousness...(Matthew 5:6).

How long will ye judge unjustly and accept the persons of the wicked? Defend the poor and the fatherless, do justice to the afflicted and needy, rid them out of the hand of the wicked...(Psalm 82:2-4)

Is this not the fast that I have chosen, to loose the bands of wickedness, to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?...(Isaiah 58:6-10).

The spirit of the Lord is upon me, because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, and to proclaim liberty unto the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.

To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all that mourn in Zion.

To give unto them Beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; THAT THEY MAY BE CALLED TREES OF RIGHTEOUSNESS; the planting of the Lord, that God may be glorified...(Isaiah 61:1-3; Luke 4:21)

__________

Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are PERFECT; yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world that come to nought.

But we speak the wisdom of God in a Mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory...(1 Corinthians 2:1-16, KJV).

PERFECTION

Greater love hath no person than this, that one lay down their life for their friends...(John 15:13-27).

Herein is OUR LOVE made PERFECT, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as he is, so are we in the world...(1 John 4:17).

__________

Warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present EVERY MAN PERFECT IN CHRIST JESUS...(Colossians 1:28).

When that which is PERFECT comes...(1 Corinthians 13:9-12).

Let us go on to PERFECTION...(Hebrews 6:1).

The disciple is not above their master, but every one that is PERFECT shall be as their master...(Luke 6:40).

And he said, go tell that fox, behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures, Today and Tomorrow, and the day following, and ON THE THIRD DAY I SHALL BE PERFECTED.

Nevertheless, I must walk today and tomorrow, and the day following, because it can not be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem...(Luke 13:32,33).

Beloved, now are we the sons and daughters of God, and it doth not appear what we shall be, but we know that when he shall appear we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is...(1 John 3:2).

"Let one human being attain perfection and the entire species shall be saved from falsehood." Reb Levi Yitzhak.

Ezekiel 1:5; Acts 13:38,39; 1 Corinthians 12:12-27.

Caiaphas said, you consider not that it is expedient for us, that ONE MAN should die for the people, and that the whole Nation perish not, he prophesied of (Jesus) who should die for that Nation, and not for that Nation only, but also that he should gather together in One, the children of God that were scattered abroad...(John 11:49-52).

THE SACRIFICE OF THE MASS

The priest anointed in his father's stead shall make an atonement for you...Ye shall afflict your souls and do no (servile) work...(Leviticus 26:29-34; John 16:1-15).

And I will raise up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in mine mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed forever...(1 Samuel 2:35).

Entering the HOLIEST PLACE OF ALL by a new and living way...(Hebrews 10:1-20).

THE CHILDREN OF LIGHT

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The same was in the beginning with God (Genesis 1:1; See chapter 1, part 2).

All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.

In him was LIFE; and the LIFE was the LIGHT of men (LIFE = LIGHT = LIFE).

And the Light shineth in Darkness (2 Corinthians 4:1-6), and the Darkness comprehended it not.

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

The same came for a Witness, to bear Witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

He was not THAT LIGHT, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

That was the True Light, WHICH LIGHTETH EVERY MAN THAT COMETH INTO THE WORLD (2 Cor.13:3-5).

He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons and daughters of God, even to them that believed on his Name...

Acts 17:26-31; Ephesians 1:17-23; 3:14-21; Colossians 1:12-20.

Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us (2 Corinthians 6:16-18), and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father...(2 Cor.3:18), full of grace and truth...(John 1:1-14).

__________

Behold, I send you forth AS SHEEP AMONG WOLVES, be ye therefore WISE AS SERPENTS and HARMLESS AS DOVES.

But beware of men, for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues.

And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them, and the Gentiles.

But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak, for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak...

And ye shall be hated of all men for my Name's sake; but he that ENDURETH TO THE END shall be saved.

But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, ye shall not have gone over (all) the cities of Israel till the Son of man be come...(Matthew 10-16-23; Luke 12:1-40).

__________

Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience...

For ye were sometimes Darkness, but now ye are Light in the world: WALK AS CHILDREN OF LIGHT.

(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth, proving what is acceptable unto the Lord).

AND HAVE NO FELLOWSHIP WITH THE UNFRUITFUL WORKS OF DARKNESS, BUT RATHER REPROVE THEM...(Ephesians 5:1-11).

_______

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do His good pleasure.

Do all things without murmurings and disputings,

That ye may be blamesless and harmless, the sons and daughters of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, AMONG WHOM YE SHINE AS LIGHTS IN THE WORLD...(Philippians 2:13-16).

_______

The Night is far spent, the Day is at hand. Let us therefore cast off the works of Darkness, and let us put on the Armour of Light...(Romans 13:12).

__________

Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the Power of His Might.

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the Darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with Truth, and having the breastplate of Righteousness, AND YOUR FEET SHOD WITH THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE.

Above all, taking the shield of Faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

And take the helmet of Salvation, AND THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT WHICH IS THE WORD OF GOD...(Ephesians 6:1-10).

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds,

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience when your own obedience is fulfilled...(2 Corinthians 10:1-6).

__________

Unto you therefore which believeth he is precious, but unto them which be disobedient, the Stone (the central elements of the Mystery of Christ) which the builders disallowed the same is made the Head of the corner. And a Stone of stumbling and a Rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word...whereunto also they were appointed.

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an Holy Nation, a peculiar people, that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of Darkness into His marvellous Light...(1 Peter 2:7-9).

If we say we have fellowship with him, and walk in Darkness, we lie, and do not the truth,

But if walk in the Light, as he is in the Light, we have fellowship one with another, and the Blood of Jesus Christ cleanseth us from all sin...(1 John 1:1-7).

_______

Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you, because the Darkness is past, and the True Light NOW shineth.

He that saith he is in the Light and hateth his brother, is in Darkness, even unto now.

He that loveth his brother abideth in the Light, and there is no occasion of stumbling in him...(1 John 2:4-10).

Which none of the princes of this world knew, for had they known it they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory (which means they would not have killed or executed one single human being, ever--whether in war or in the pursuit of law. They would have left such things for the sons of Darkness to perform)...(1 Corinthians 2:6-8).

_______

But of the times and seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a Thief in the night (John 10:1-10).

For when they shall say, Peace and Safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child, and they shall not escape.

But ye, brethren, are not in Darkness, that that day should overtake you as a Thief.

YE ARE ALL THE CHILDREN OF LIGHT, AND THE CHILDREN OF THE DAY: we are not of the night, nor of Darkness...(1 Thessalonians 5:1-28).

_______

For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His son, that he might be the firstborn of many...

As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the Day long; we are accounted AS SHEEP FOR THE SLAUGHTER...(Romans 8:33-37; Isaiah 53).

THE FELLOWSHIP OF CHRIST'S SUFFERINGS

For hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his (your) mouth (Psalm 32).

Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to Him that judgeth righteously:

Who his own self bare our sins in his own Body on a Tree, that we being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye are healed...

For we were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of our souls...(1 Peter 2:21-25).

_______

But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings, that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye, for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified...

If any man suffer as a Christian (true Jew, true Muslim, true Hindu, true Warrior) let him not be ashamed; but let them glorify God on this behalf...(1 Peter 4:11-16).

For we are fools for Christ's sake, but (they) are wise in Christ: we are weak, but (they) are strong: (they) are honourable, but we are despised.

Even unto this present hour we both hunger and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwelling place.

And labor, working WITH OUR OWN HANDS; being reviled, we bless, being persecuted, we suffer it;

Being defamed, we intreat; we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscourings of all things unto this day...(1 Corinthians 4:10-13).

THE RESURRECTION

Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and all power.

For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his Feet.

The last enemy that shall be destroyed is Death...

FROM NETZAH TO HOD; FROM THE END OF ONE AGE TO THE BIRTH OF THE NEXT

So also is the Resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption (with the Remnant on the Left side of the Tree), it is raised in incorruption (with the Anointed Ones on the Right side of the Tree). It is sown in dishonour (on the Left side of the Tree), it is raised in glory (on the Right side of the Tree). It is sown in weakness (on the Left side of the Tree), it is raised in Power (on the Right side of the Tree)...

Then shall be brought to pass the saying, Death is swallowed up in Victory. O death, where is thy sting (understand Ezekiel 2:6)? O grave, where is thy victory...(1 Corinthians 15:24-26, 42-55; Isaiah 25:8).

_______

The accuser of the brethren is cast down. NOW is come salvation and strength.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives to the death...(Revelation 12:7-11).

__________

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit...That the righteousness of the Law might be fulfilled in (them)...(Romans 8:1-6).

Yea, and all that live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution,

But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived...(2 Timothy 3:12-14).

The wicked are not troubled as other men, neither are they plagued like other men, wherefore pride doth compass them about...(Psalm 73:5,6; 1 Thessalonians 3:3,4).

And in nothing terrified by your adversaries, which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.

But unto it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake.

Having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear to be in me...(Philippians 1:27-30; 2 Cor.4:8-12; 6:4-10; 7:5; 11:22; 12:8110).

That I may know him, and the Power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable to his death...(Philippians 3:10-15).

Choosing the afflictions and the reproach of Christ...(Hebrews 11:24-40). Enduring the cross...(Hebrews 12:1-4).

THE GREAT NONVIOLENT (YAJNA) SACRIFICE

Behold, the LAMB of God...(John 1:36)

Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us...(1 Cor.5:7). But the Body is of Christ...(Colossians 2:6-17).

For such a high priest became for us, holy, HARMLESS, undefiled...(Hebrews 7:26,27).

Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committeth himself to Him that judgeth righteously.

Who his own self bare our (transgressions) in his own body on the Tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness, by whose stripes ye are (at last) healed...(1 Peter 2:21-25).

Be ye therefore Wise as serpents and HARMLESS as doves...(Matthew 10:16; James 5:6).

Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hathe eternal life abiding in him.

Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren...(1 John 3:13-16).

_______

According to the grace of God which is iven unto me, as a wise masterbuilder I have laid the Foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereon.

FOR NO OTHER FOUNDATION CAN BE LAID THAN THAT WHICH IS (ALREADY) LAID, WHICH IS CHRIST JESUS...(1 Corinthians 3:9-17).

If anyone therefore cometh and preach another Jesus (other than one who is absolutely nonviolent), or if ye receive another spirit...(2 Corinthians 11:1-4, 13-15).

_______

And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby we know we are in him.

HE THAT SAITH HE ABIDETH IN HIM OUGHT ALSO TO WALK, EVEN AS HE WALKED...(1 John 2:3-6).

For where a testament is, there must also of neccessity (and at last) be the death of the testator...(Hebrews 9:16-28).

But with the precious blood of Christ (1 Cor.12:12-20), as of A LAMB WITHOUT BLEMISH AND WITHOUT SPOT:

Who verily was foreordained before the Foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you...(1 Peter 1:19,20).

_______

There are Three that bear witness in the earth, the Spirit, the Water, and the Blood. These Three agree in one...(1 John 5:6-8).

_______

WITHOUT THE SHEDDING OF BLOOD THERE IS NO REMISSION OF SIN...(Hebrews 9:22; Revelation 12:11).

THE BLOOD OF THE COVENANT

And the Lord called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying...

The Great House...(2 Timothy 2::19,20; 1 Cor.3:10-17).

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an offering unto the Lord, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of the herd, and of the flock (Malachi 4:1,2).

If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish (Do not be children in the Spirit, understand the allegorical meaning of this gender bias, and do not take it literally), HE SHALL OFFER IT OF HIS OWN VOLUNTARY WILL at THE DOOR of the tabernacle of the Congregation before the Lord. (John 10:1-11).

And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make an atonement for him. (Hebrews 6:1-6).

And he shall kill the bullock before the Lord: and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall bring the blood round about the altar that is by The Door of the tabernacle of the Congregation...(Leviticus 1:1-5).

_______

The life of the flesh (the Body) is in the blood. I have given it unto you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh atonement for your souls...(Lev.17:11).

Thou shalt pour the blood out upon the earth as water...(Deuteronomy 12:23-26).

And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people (Seven times), and said, BEHOLD, THE BLOOD OF THE COVENANT...(Exodus 24:8; Lev.4:6; Lev.16:14-19).

_______

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the Holiest by the Blood of Jesus,

By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh (his BODY)...(Hebrews 10:7-20).

THE HIGH PRIEST OF OUR PROFESSION

So Christ was offered ONCE...(Hebrews 9; 1 Cor.12).

That he might reconcile (all) in One Body by the Cross...(Ephesians 2:16).

For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men IN THINGS PERTAINING TO GOD, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins:

Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way, FOR THAT HE HIMSELF IS COMPASSED WITH THE SAME INFIRMITIES.

And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.

AND NO MAN TAKETH THIS HONOUR UNTO HIMSELF, BUT HE THAT IS CALLED OF GOD, AS WAS AARON.

So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but He that said unto him, THOU ART MY SON, THIS DAY HAVE I BEGOTTEN THEE (Psalm 2:7)...

But exhort one another daily , WHILE IT IS CALLED TODAY; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence STEDFAST UNTO THE END. While it is said, TODAY if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation...(Hebrews 3:13-15).

THE PEARL OF GREAT PRICE...(Revelation 21:21; Matthew 13:45,46).

...As He saith in another place, Thou art a priest FOR EVER after the order of Melchchis'e-dec.

Who in the days of his flesh (Hebrews 2:11), when he had offered up prayers (James 5:17-20) and supplications with strong cryings and tears unto him that was able save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;

Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered (by which who suffered? Galatians 1:11-16);

And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all that obey him;

Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchis'e-dec.

OF WHOM WE HAVE MANY THINGS TO SAY, AND HARD TO BE UTTERED, SEEING THEY ARE DULL OF HEARING.

For when for the time they ought to be teachers, they have need that one teach them again which be the First principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not strong meat (1 Corinthians 3:1-3; Isaiah 28:9).

For everyone that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil...(Hebrews, chapter 5).

___________

When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the Lord thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

And it shall be, when ye are come nigh unto the battle, that the priest shall approach and speak unto the people,

And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them;

For the Lord your God is He that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you, (2 Thessalonians 1:4-10)...(Deuteronomy 20:1-4).

TRUE HOLY WARRIORS

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war in the flesh (for we understand the metaphors and the allegories of holy warfare):

(And therefore) the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God, to the pulling down of strongholds;

And casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when our (own) obedience is fulfilled...(2 Corinthians 10:3-6; Ephesians 6:10-17).

_______

Thus there was war in heaven; Michael and his angels fought against the dragon (against the spirit of antichrist in the earth); and the dragon fought, and his angels,

And prevailed not; neither was there place found any more in heaven (Luke 10:18-24).

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth (he was exposed), and his angels were cast out with him.

And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
